Bushfire Assistance Rebate - now closed
Many customers have used water over the last few months to prepare and protect their properties. This rebate is provided to help those customers with the cost of extra water used during this fire season.
To be eligible, your suburb was either:
- Directly impacted by fire
- Officially advised by the NSW RFS to consider leaving for your safety or
- Officially advised by the NSW RFS that it was too late to leave
The rebate applies to accounts issued between 01 January to 31 March 2020 and is the value of water used in excess of the same period last year. If eligible, the rebate will be applied as credit on water accounts and are not refundable or transferable. No further rebates apply.
Drought Relief to Farmers
Assistance is available to eligible rural or agricultural categorised water account customers for higher water consumption on recent water accounts.
The assistance is available for water accounts issued after 1 October 2018 and until the drought ends.

Concessions for Medical Conditions
We understand that some of our customers have medical needs that require large amounts of water to be used at home, especially those who require haemodialysis machines.
To help our home haemodialysis customers manage the financial burden, we provide a reduced tariff for water usage charges. Records are maintained to ensure these customers receive continued service with disruptions to water supply minimised and planned well in advance wherever possible.
